A 1995 Roseau High School Graduate where he was a four year letter winner and went on to play his college hockey at U.S. Military Academy at West Point where he recorded 168 points (76g, 92a) over his four years as a Black Knight. He was selected to play in the College Hockey North American Challenge Seniors All-Star game where he was scouted by several NHL teams later signing a professional contract with the San Jose Sharks organization. His professional rookie season (1999-00) he spent with the Sharks East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) affiliate the New Orleans Brass and the American Hockey league (AHL) affiliate Kentucky Thoroughblades. He spent the next three seasons on his professional career with stops in the AHL with the Cleveland Barons, San Antonio Rampage and the CHL’s Leredo Bucks. Lundbohm retired from professional hockey following the 2002-2003 season.
